This blog has been quiet for some time. I’m still here and still am passionate about all the things I have talked about on this (and older blogs). It’s been silent here because I believe our family is finally making the leap to the other side or at least the next side. It feels like we have been snails in this process while watching rabbits, greyhounds and Olympic sprinters cross the finish line. But, it has to happen the way it has to happen, right? I feel we just crossed into a new phase of healing. I may go into more details about how the transition happened – I’m not sure if I want to write it here or not.
For the past many years, because of the constant barrage, I could feel my body locking up. In more recent years I have felt there is some kind of block in my body that is hindering all my efforts from being absorbed. I’ve been trying hard to figure out what the jam is and, I do hope in time I discover what it was, but the block has lessened. Lessened enough for me to move on to the next stage of healing. This story really isn’t about ME but the impact that chronic, constant health problems has had on me can’t be ignored.
My move from one phase to the next was intense. It literally came over me where in one minute I was in “X Phase” and 60 seconds later I moved to “Y Stage”. To understand and internalize that I had moved into a new stage and was trending positively towards healing was overwhelming both physically and emotionally. I’m sharing this personal example to explain that I am going to be growing my knowledge. I’m not sure what it will look like yet but can you think of anyone that doesn’t have some thing blocking them from being the best person they can be? No matter how small it is. I’ll update this as I decide where I want to take my studies. But in the meantime, if you think that given the efforts you have put in that the results should be more drastic we should talk.
I am excited to learn more about the concept of blockage. I believe this will be an excellent tool to apply to just about everyone I’ve worked with.
